About six weeks ago an EOG Landman told me that EOG was going to soon drill another Haynesville well west of the Freemn Farms #1H well. Has anyone seen any activity indicating that another well is about to be drilled?
James ... There is a new pad being built down county rd 254 across the road from Mrs. Dobbins place. I was told that they were going to put another one north of the Freeman well.
Also I was told that about 2 miles on down cr254 near the river on Freeman land that they were going to build a 8 acre super pad and drill 4 wells on the same pad.
Thanks Doug. I've got 1 mineral acre near the end of cr 254 that might be near the superpad, but it's leased to Cabot.
Thanks Doug.
You caught us up on the Freeman. Now how about its neighbor the Bennett. The drilling started about the same time. Assume it will connect to same pipeline. Have they started rthe Frac on it also?
Seems to be a lot of good things going on around Denning.
Ken
The frac crew has left the Bennett site.
Hopefully they are cleaning the well up and it will be a producer. I assume if a producer it will connect to same pipeline as the Freeman.
Doug where are you located from the old Nichols store?
You appear to be on top of that area.
By the way they are going to run a seismic survey thru the area again in a few days. They were in touch with me this past Thursday. The guys who talk to you do not seem to know anything.
It appears to me after seimic surveys for the Walters, Freeman and Bennett they would know what the underground looks like. Any guess why they would keep looking?
Thanks for your updates.
There has been lots of activety at the Bennett. There was even a big work over rig there for several days before the frac crew came.

Ken My shop is on county rd 255 off 256 south of 21 about 1 mile from the old Nichols store. i live on cr 278 5 miles west of SA. Yes Seitel is coming back on the land that shop is on. it is 6 acres unleased EOG called this week and offered $850.00 acre. I declined lease.
I already leased my 22 acres to EOG 2 years ago in june before I knew what was going on and did not get NEAR enough money.
My brother and I also leased a little to quick and to cheap. But who knew what was in the future for this part of SA Co. We just pray all wells are successful, if so we none of us will worry about the lease price.
Thanks again for the info.
Does anyone know what the footage is from your lease to a well that you still recieve your royalties on your lease
There is no such number. You receive royalties if you are inside the unit boundaries (and leased). The unit designation can be found at the county courthhouse.
