There's a rumor that Devon is suspending further activity in NW Shelby County. This includes Samford 1h. Can anyone confirm?

J.McCormick is directly above to the NE of Devon's Adams 1-H well. We are also in that same survey.
As posted in another site, we just visited well site for DVN Bell #1H. Rig is up and drilling. Good news so far... Hope it gets even better!
KKA, others may just pick up the slack.
KKA, any further information as Devon has not said anything.
16 leases filed today and last Friday by Devon in the J.Tutt, J.Richards, N. Howell and DTY Yordt surveys - all of which lie within the area where the rumoured "suspension of activity" was said to be taking place.

Leasing pattern does seem to be continuing onward in the opposite direction of any supposed pull-out...

The only further information I have is that as of 8/9/10 Sand Hill Foundations who has done pad work for Devon has built an access road off FM 1645 in an easterly direction near the locations of the terminus points for Adams 1h and Smith 1h. The sign is on the side of the road. I can only speculate what the road is for, but it looks like it could be a rumor killer.

KKA, thanks for the update. I am sure DG will keep an eye on Devon's activity.
The Unit Declaration was filed today for Devon's Battle Gas Unit at the Shelby Co Clerk's office. This one is just about 2 miles directly SE of CHK's-Smith 1H well and maybe 3.5 miles SE of DVN's Adams 1-H.
