ETX Fluid Solutions submitted a permit application for a Salt Water Disposal well, Pendleton #1, to be located in the Southeast corner of John Chiveral survey, A-186. It appears to be very near Hwy. 21 where the new pipeline intersects the Gulf South line.

Thanks jffreel. From my rough scaling it appears to be on the East side of pipeline ROW only 175 yds. North of Hwy. 21.
I think that is fairly close, Frank. Until it is mapped, it is hard to know exactly, since the coordinates are not on the plat.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
