Jim, although not currently a Haynesville Unit - Section 33 is likely to be unitized in the near future with a Haynesville Shale well eventually drilled in the section.

Is there any way to know what has been unitized. I know they unitized section 29, the fractional in 30 and the fractional in 32 that connects with 29 in 12N 16W; however, is there somewhere that this is published.

Finding Haynesville shale units is easy on the interactive maps once they've been approved. Copies of unit orders, locations of other units, proposed units, etc. can be found through the text based search functions under sonlite, but I can't give you good instructions how to do it. I can usually stumble through the web pages and find them.

Unfortunately, SONRIS and Sonlite aren't link friendly, so I can't give you a working URL that links into the appropriate section of the web site.

Blue in the attached map is approved units on the SONRIS interactive map site.

12-16-33 doesn't show up as unitized on the interactive map. I'll try to stumble through the web pages and see if I can find any hearing notices when I get a chance.

Mac, I had already posted that Section 33 does not have a Haynesville Unit. No need to stumble through.

12N-16W as activity by EOG, XTO, and Comstock. There is interest in that area. Comstock has drilled some hall-of-fame wells just a few miles north of you.
