Bienville Parish, $1000./Rod ??????

Has anyone in Bienville Parish received this amount for a pipeline, or know of someone who has? I know there are always rumors or stretched truths, but a source close to the business has given this info.

i'd let them criss cross pipe all over my property for that kind of money. seems a little unrealistic. too good to be true type thing.

Tiger paid $740 a rod so I don't think it's that unbelievable. I'd be nice to get some more details though.

I don't know which pipeline it was that someone may have been paid $1000.00, just that it was in BIenville Parish. I don't think my source had much more info either.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
