Is there any activity around section 36 yet? For some reason I think I'm the only person in that section. I can't find another person that signed or has any information on whats going on.
Has anybody heard of any pipelines coming into the area?
It's been some week since I was there. I think the closed the road to gas traffic.

My wife owns property in this section, but we do not know exactly where this section is or the exact location of her property. Where can I get or see a map that shows section 36.

bulldog. Your wife's property is about 2 miles east-southeast of Sardis in the general vicinity of the Old Pleasant Hill Road. That's a best guess as that area is quite remote and has few roads. The map is use is "The Roads of Louisiana" from Mapsco, $19.95, but it does not show good detail in that particular area.

Has anyone heard anything about Sec 7 T9N R11W? We were working a deal with Shell, but now they have pulled back and indicated they do not wish to lease afterall. Can't get a straight answer from the landman....just tells me that the market is down along with the cost of natural gas, so Shell is leasing on a tract by tract basis inow. Have we missed our opportunity? Are there other players leasing in this area?

i heard that shell want going to start any new lease's unless they had to . i was told that they wanted to concentrate on drilling the lease's that they already have.they also said that when they start leasing again depends on the market,but they dont expect it to be in the very near future.

Anything happening anywhere in T9N R12W, especially in Sec 5. We agreed to a lease in June through a lawyer but still no money.

Go to INFO Public Hearings. Scroll down to Nov. 13, 2008 and click on application. You will see sections being submitted for unitizing.
