Hi

I have property around Marion Louisiana and I was wondering if anyone is leasing in that area? If so who has been doing the leasing?

Hey Marc,
I am not sure what is actually going on in Marion but I will find out; I have a very reliable source.
I'll get back with ya.
Alison
Thanks a bunch.

I look forward to your reply
I believe the latest has been 300/acre with 20% royalty and either 3 or 4 year lease. Pinebelt seems to be the major player around Marion. HTH.
Has Pinebelt actually paid $300/acre and agreed to 20% royalty for a 3 or 4 year lease? AMA...
do you know someone who actaully made this deal?
Jim B.

I am sure about the 300/acre, but since posting that info I talked with my husband and he is telling me that it seems like I told him 3/16 royalty which is not far off from 20% (if my calculations are right!). I was told by some folks that made this deal that I should contact Pinebelt for the same offer. I have yet to do so in hopes of the price going up. I may be gambling a bit here. Does this deal seem fantastic to you? And, have you been offered anything?

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
