Thank you so much. So how do I find out if this is part of our unit or not? Also how do I find out how many wells there are on our land? The lady that sent the ratification papers said they had drilled a few wells already and the papers on it were with lawyers.Maybe the division orders??? This is so....cool

Pamela, if your acreage is included (entirely) in the 559 acre Boone Unit you would only get royalties from that unit. If the acreage was split, somehow, between the two units you would receive checks from both units but each check would be proportionally smaller according to how much of the 42 acres was in each unit. Not everyone in A-147 will get a check if their acreage is not included in one of those units.

Thank you! There are so many lines on this survey map it is hard to read. But the paperwork (I think I killed my NEW printer) says it is all in Boone. Some much of the surrounding area seems to belong to relatives I am just finding out about (adds to the fun). How do I find out if they applied for more than 1 drill permit etc... ?

You would have to use the W-1 search query on RRC. If you will go to the group "RRC of Texas Help Center", I have posted links to some of the pages of interest to mineral owners. If you have a question about how something works on RRC of Texas, that is the place to find the answer.

The survey map and RRC map are confusing as there appears to be strange boundries. My new question is what d the red circles( legend says gas) with 5 digit number next to them mean.

example: red circle 31498

The red circle indicates a producing well. Blue is a permitted location that either hasn't been drilled or, if it has been drilled, is not completed to sales. Here is a link to the legend for the GIS Map. It tell what all the symbols indicate.

The numbers are the last 5 digits of the API #. If it is in Shelby Co. it would be 419-31498.

Crockett #1H had an IP of 8.327 MMcfd, on a 18/64 choke with a 8,064# FCP.
