What is the going rate for leasing per acre from Chesapeake Louisiana?

 

We are living so far away that we have no idea what is going on

Township 9N Range 11W and Section 2
Things are slowing down but leases have hovered around 6 to 6.5 K p/a
Confused, also do not sighn a standard lease, it only helps the operator. do your home work or get a good oil and gas attorney. A good place to start is on the main page on the left side close to the top of this site you will see leasing information click on that then click on leasing basics, it lists the important clauses that you need. Remember you only have one shot so make it count
A well was just completed in sec 20, 9N-11W for 21 million a day and 10,000 lbs flowing pressure. That is a really good well. Also the Bossier Shale is probably productive in this area making it that much more valuable.
