Can one of you local guys take a look at the C Hereford survey (Section A-17)? I met with a landman (landlady?) yesterday when my mother-in-law signed her lease, and the landlady said that a pad is being cleared north of 103, about 1.5 miles east of 705. This will not be on the road - maybe 3/4 mile north of 103. Encana should be the one getting ready to drill.

Devon has been quiet but may be ramping up again down South. They have a lot of land leased around that area. It may be after the first of the year before we hear anything. Let's hope they do.
JWC, Did you hear something about Devon? Someone told me that they have no plans at this time to drill anything in the area in 2011. I am hoping for some better news.
Devon seems to be having a bi-polar episode lately, LOL!! I heard this morning that they were back on again and it makes you wonder what they found out. Obviously, it had to be something good or they would still be "off again", don't you think?
My head is spinning! LOL!
Just that they may have changed their mind and may be in the process of gearing back up. Like jffree1 said Devon is hard to figure out. Maybe we will know something soon. There has been a lot of Seismic activity down that way. Maybe the Seismic revealed something they like.
That's a lot of acres! I'm in a-17 too! Did you get a good deal with Devon?
im not in the area are things moveing around their im in a-10 could use any info..
The nearest activity to you is the H. Nelson #1H well south of Etoile in Nacogdoches County and the EnCana wells on FM 1277 (north of 103) in the A. Spear survey. You are still 6-8 miles south of the nearest wells, though, so sit tight and hope they keep moving south.
thank you for the reply i know of that area... i might need a range rider this comming year any info would help ..
Just remind me to look now and again.
Can you share what she got per acre (bonus)? That would be timely & a BIG help!
