Waltcop, they have finished drilling...I have your pictures so furnish me with your e-mail address.
Thanks for the update Ken. Accept my "friends" request and I will send you my email address......looking forward to the Pics. And now, CHK needs to find water to frac. Again, thanks for the update.
Waltcop, they have finished but rig still standing.
OOPs, I thought they had moved the rig. My nephew told me last night that he had heard of a lot of traffic around Mitchell yesterday and I guess I made the wrong assumption that it was the moving of the rig since they were through drilling. Thanks for staightening me out. Will they use the rig to do the fracking or will they bring in something different?
Hey, Ken. Any updates on the Jimmy Ray Brown alternate wells going on in Sec. 9 by this Sec. 5 well there on Sistrunk Loop? Last I heard, they were building the pad.
Donna I'll check and get back.
They will have to get sect. 8 soon or forfeit their leases.Don"t know if they would drill it out of section or not.
Waltcop,. There are procedures they take perhaps Les can enlighten us. In the past fracking follows after a few day without the rig.
Thanks so much Ken. I think the same thing may happen with Section 6 which is over at the corner of Boliver Road and Hwy. 174. I've been watching that one for a friend who has an interest in it. A well has not even been permitted in that section.
Donna, pad in sec 9 for alt wells is finished but no permits yet, maybe some time with the price of gas. waltcop they moved Trinidad riig 109 off sec 4 yesterday so that was the traffic your nephew saw, I'm sure they will be moving nomac rig off sec 5 in a day or two

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
