It has been drilled and is one of a dozen EOG wells waiting on completion.

Thanks. Is this normal or is there something particular about EOG right now?

It is normal, Jan.  There has been a considerable wait for a pumping crew to frack all the wells now in queue in a three or four county area.  I don't think anyone is in an enormous hurry to complete the wells, either, with the price of gas so low.

Can you tell me where it is located? I still haven't figured out the mapping process. I can figure out that things have come to a crawl. For my area anyway.

Edgar Unit is on Highway 21 about 10 miles east of Nacogdoches. It's not ours but it's 4 miles east of us so I'm just curious how it's doing.  Where are you?

I would love to be down there to see things first hand but this website is the next best thing.  Folks have been so generous with their time and expertise.  Sounds like right now there's not much going on so hopefully when we come down next year there will be more going on and we can further our education. :)
