Sonris shows Chesapeake received a permit on 9/14/2010 to drill a HA well Serial No. 242013 in Section 5 of T9N-R12W.  I am out of state and would very much appreciate any updates or activity pertaining to this permit.

Thanks for the update Ken.   I am out-of-state (Colorado) and appreciate your feedback on whats happening in Mitchell.
Tom, I am out of state also and really appreciate the updates of what is happening in around Mitchell too. Ken has been very helpful.  Hope they receive some good rain to fill the local ponds so they can frac some wells soon, now that the pipeline is in place.
You know, I may be wrong but once they finish (pipeline) they will  complete and produce. That is the good news, the not so good will probably be another 4-6 months until a check. Time has no meaning to anyone but a man in jail or waiting on royaltys.LOL...Waltcop, I beleive Craig has enough water to complete the task.
Tom & Walt....the fracing has begun!

Ken,

Great news - thanks for keeping us informed.

fyi - I compiled a chart from SONRIS for the 48 sections surrounding 5-9-12 to get an idea of what has happened so far.   Sure hope ours comes in like 9-9-12 rather than 31-10-12 :)

Have a wonderful week!

Great news indeed, thanks Ken.

Tom, that is a nice chart, it gives us a good look at what is going on around us.  Thank you for your efforts.

Is a nice chart. They have improved dramaticaly since the well in T-10. I have a feeling it will work out nicely. This will be the COLA you need and did not get from S/S. LOL

Great chart Tom. It sure looks good for 09N-12W.  Note, however, that permitted wells 242715, 242750, and 242751 that you show in 016-9N-12W are 009-09N-12W wells. Their surface locations will be in 016-09N-12W, but they will be drilled and completed in 009-09N-12W.

Thanks again for your good work.

grasshopper.

Thanks for the new information.   I was using the surface well location in SONRIS and didn't bother to check which direction they were drilling.   The GIS map on SONRIS clearly show the wells penetrating under 9-9-12 as you state.   I find it interesting that Encana has almost tapped out 9-9-12 with 7 of 8 possible wells while other producers are just punching one hole per section (I suppose to maintain their leases forever by HBP).   Since Sections 5 and 9 adjoin at a corner, hopefully Encana's enthusiasm for this area means that something is in Section 5 also!

One curious question:  since SN 242715, 242750 and 242751are physically located in 16-9-12 but drain 9-9-12 which drilling unit is their production allocated to- HA RA SUB or HA RA SUM?

I was told last night a pad would be developed for sect. 8 and 4 wells planned for it so it appears multiple wells planned for this area.

SONRIS shows these as HA RA SUM alernate wells.

I have another question for someone.  I drove around Sistrunk Loop today and saw two drilling rigs.   One was on the Jimmy Brown pad, and the other one was somewhere to the east.  I could not tell where it was located.  Does anyone know?

Thanks,

grasshopper.

Uncle G, is that perhaps the Evans 19 well in sec. 19?
