My sister and I inherited our deceased moms mineral rights in Shelby co tx. We are non participating partners. We have been told that the well "boilermaker" is currently online and pumping almost 11 mcf. We were also told it was finished the end of Jan. We dont understand the lingo of the business, yet, and am trying to get up to speed. When should we expect to receive our payments on our part? Is there any place one can go to keep up with the production of the well and know what is going on with it?

The gas well was completed by XTO Energy 1-4-2011 and it tested on 2-1-2011 10811 MCF/day on a 16/64" choke size. Production reported by XTO to the Texas Railroad Commission:

2-2011 247,358 MCF produced and 247119 MCF sold

3-2011 212891 MCF produced and 212684 MCF sold

4-2011 188243 MCF produced and 188059 MCF sold

Thanks so much for the info. Sorry to be so ignorant in the terminology but such is the case for the short term. Not certain what the choke size means. The output, is that decent for a gas well? On wells such as this, would you happen to know when the royalty owners may begin seeing some sort of paperwork from XTO? I realize that no two situations are the same, just curious about the average time it takes for  things to begin to happen. I know that they were very anxious to get our signatures on the ratification paperwork a few months back, then it seems to be like the military, hurry up and wait...Again, thanks for your info and input. Much appreciated..Chip
Roy--- are your minerals  in the unit? If yes contact XTO royalty department for update on when you should receive Division Orders? Best bet for info would be to contact the person who had you ratify the lease.
OK...gonna show you my ignorance right off the bat here...are my minerals in what unit?  unit?  not sure what you are asking...as compared to where else would they be?
The Gas Unit Boilermaker you are talking about. It has 948 acres in the unit. Are your minerals in this Plat--- that the unit. You can review the P-12 list of mineral owner that make up the unit on the RRC of Texas web site. You can also download copy of plat to review location of unit with well site--- go read on jffree1 group on how to use the web site
