Franklin County

The Talco West Unit Well No. 2407H will be drilled to 5,200 feet four miles southwest of Talco in the Talco Field. Exxon Mobil will drill this well in the I. Pennington Survey, A-365.

Harrison County

The Bivins Gas Unit 1 Well No. 8 will be drilled to 12,500 feet 2.4 miles northeast of Easton in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be drilled by Valence Operating in the W. Richards Survey, A-593 and may be drilled in the Oak Hill (Travis Peak) Field.

M.E. Operating & Services will drill the Eads Well No. 2H to 10,000 feet 3.1 miles southeast of Leigh in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the F. Fuller Survey, A-8.

Houston County

Navidad Resources will drill the Gouldie Well No. 1 to 11,500 feet 4.5 miles northwest of Lovelady in a wildcat field. The well is in the J.H. Milliken Survey, A-1312.

Johnson County

The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see three wells drilled to 9,000 feet by Devon Energy. The Tindall-Uysaler (SA) Well No. 1H, the Tindall-Uysaler (SA) Well No. 2H and the Tindall-Uysaler (SA) Well No. 3H are 9.7 miles northeast of Cleburne in the W.S. Craddock Survey, A-133.

Leon County

The Halliday (Woodbine) Field will see the Homer Coleman Well No. 1H drilled by PMO to 7,700 feet 5.9 miles northeast of Leona in the N.G. Allen Survey, A-1.

Nacogdoches County

The Moon Pie Well No. 4 and the Moon Pie Well No. 5 will hit 650 feet 15 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Nacogdoches Field. Sonerra Resources will drill these wells in the J.M. Mora Survey, A-827.

Panola County

In a lease 3.1 miles northeast of Beckville, in the Carthage (Travis Peak) Field, the S.E. Matthews Well No. A 2H will be drilled by Chevron U.S.A.to 18,500 feet in the W. McFadden Survey, A-443.

Devon Energy will drill three wells in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field to 12,500 feet.

  The H.R. Fender Well No. 23 is five miles southwest of Carthage in the M. Ashton Survey, A-8.

  The H.R. Fender Well No. 24 is 6.3 miles southwest of Carthage in the I. Hanks Survey, A-271.

  The H.R. Fender Well No. 25 is 6.3 miles southwest of Carthage in the I. Hanks Survey, A-271.

Robertson County

The Koehler Gas Unit Well No. 2 will hit 12,025 feet 13.8 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. O'Benco will drill this well in the H. Campbell Survey, A-120.

Sabine County

The West Ingram GU SBN Well No. 1H will be drilled to 16,000 feet 4.9 miles northwest of Geneva in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. Chesapeake Operating will drill this well in the J. Horton Survey, A-114.

San Augustine County

Exco Operating will drill the Stansbury SU Well No. 1H to 15,000 feet 12 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the HT&B RR Co./L.J. Mills Survey, A-575.

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Harris GU SAG Well No. 1H in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well will hit 16,000 feet 4.6 miles northwest of Geneva in the W.N. Sigler Survey, A-429.

Shelby County

In a lease 12.5 miles east of Shelbyville, in the Huxley (Fredriksburg) Field, the Mildred Well No. 2H was drilled by Samson Lone Star to 4,000 feet in the R. Marshall Survey, A-477.

Classic Operating will drill the USA Courtney Well No. 2H in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field. The well will hit 12,300 feet 3.7 miles south of Joaquin in the N.A. Middleton Survey, A-489.

XTO Energy will drill the Dnieper Well No. 1H to 12,500 feet 11.3 miles northeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field in the E. Ritter Survey, A-584.

Tarrant County

Chesapeake Operating will drill six wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

  The Gateway Gibson Well No. 7H is 22 miles northeast of Fort Worth in the J. Gibson Survey, A-587.

  The Sterling Well No. 6H and the Sterling Well No. 7H are within city limits of Fort Worth in the H. Covington Hrs. Survey, A-256.

  The BC South K Well No. 3H and the BC South K Well No. 4H are within the city limits of Euless in the S. Tucker Survey, A-1512.

  The Pruett Mountain Well No. 4H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the J. Wheat Survey, A-1678.

XTO Energy will drill nine wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.

  The Edwards Riverhills A Unit Well No. 5H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the BBB&C RR Co. Survey, A-217.

  The Rockerfellow Unit Well No. 11H and the Rockerfellow Unit Well No. 12H are 2.2 miles northwest of Mansfield in the M. Rockerfellow Survey, A-1267.

  The LMRA West Unit Well No. 16H and the LMRA West Unit Well No. 17H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the E.H. Burke Survey, A-160.

  The TXU TRWD N Unit Well No. 7H, the TXU TRWD N Unit Well No. 8H, the TXU TRWD N Unit Well No. 9H and the TXU TRWD N Unit Well No. 11H are 1.1 miles southeast of Kennedale in the M. Garcia Survey, A-564.

Chesapeake Operating will drill seven wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

  The Vaquero Well No. 2H, the Vaquero Well No. 3H, the Vaquero Well No. 4H, the Vaquero Well No. 5H, the Vaquero Well No. 6H, the Vaquero Well No. 7H and the Vaquero Well No. 8H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the G.J. Ashabranner Survey, A-7.


COMPLETIONS

Franklin County

The Moncrief-Westland Unit Well No. 206A was completed by Valence Operating to 12,532 feet 3.7 miles north of Winnsboro in the W.A. Moncrief Field. The well potentialed 410,000 cubic feet of gas, no choke size recorded. Production is in the Smackover.

Freestone County

The Glaydene Neal Well No. 7 was completed to 7,495 feet 9.4 miles east of Streetman in the Northeast Stewards Mill Field by Apache Corp. On a 48/64-inch choke the well flowed with 25 barrels of crude. Production is in the Rodessa.

Harrison County

NFR Energy completed the Moseley GU Well No. 3H to 16,412 feet two miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 26/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.136 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.

Valence Operating completed the George Robertson Well No. 3 to 11,948 feet 11.8 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.109 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Samson Lone Star completed the Mink Well No. 2H in the Waskom Field to 16,863 feet three miles northeast of Elysian Field. On a 30/64-inch choke the well potentialed 8.334 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Johnson County

Devon Energy completed nine new wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Crawford Well No. 3H hit 11,903 feet 13.2 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 2.440 million cubic feet of gas on a 40/64-inch choke.

  The Crawford Well No. 4H hit 11,703 feet 13.2 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 2.398 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Crawford Well No. 5H hit 11,817 feet 12.9 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 2.303 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Crawford Well No. 6H hit 11,772 feet 12.9 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 2.569 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Willie Crow Well No. 2H his 13,011 feet 12.6 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 2.431 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Willie Crow Well No. 3H hit 12,746 feet 12.6 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 2.355 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The John Edward King Well No. 31H hit 9,061 feet 9.2 miles west of Cleburne and potentialed 1.866 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The John Edward King Well No. 32H hit 9,234 feet 9 miles west of Cleburne and potentialed 1.546 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The John Edward King Well No. 33H hit 9,340 feet nine miles west of Cleburne and potentialed 2.232 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

XTO Energy completed the Molar Unit Well No. 2H and the Molar Unit Well No. 4H in the East Newark Field 4.3 miles southeast of Burleson.

  The No. 2H hit 12,046 feet and potentialed 2.920 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke.

  The No. 4H hit 11,317 feet and potentialed 3.496 million cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed three wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Cart Barn-Cole (SA) Well No. 1H hit 11,802 feet 3.5 miles southwest of Cleburne. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 2.289 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Cart Barn-Cole (SA) Well No. 2H hit 11,807 feet 3.5 miles southwest of Cleburne and potentialed 2.697 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Greenwood A Well No. 1H hit 12,848 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.345 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Limestone County

The Jeff Thomas Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 2H was completed by XTO Energy to 18,010 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Filed. This well potentialed 5.954 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.

Nacogdoches County

Goodrich Petroleum will drill has completed the H. Nelson Hay Well No. 1H to 20,014 feet 21.5 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Carthage Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 12.386 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Panola County

The J.C. Mauritzen Well No. 7 was completed by Devon Energy to 9,814 feet 9.4 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 1.645 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Robertson County

XTO Energy completed the Williams Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 1 to 14,206 feet 5.4 miles east of Calvert in the Bald Prairie Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 576,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Rusk County

In a lease six miles northeast of Cushing in the Trawick Field, the Trawick Gas Unit 57 Well No. 104 was completed by Cabot Oil & Gas to 9,068 feet and potentialed 2.217 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit-Travis Peak Consolidated.

San Augustine County

The Wilkinson Gas Unit Well No. 1H was drilled by Cabot Oil & Gas to 12,519 feet 4.2 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Angie Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 4.064 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the James Lime.

In a lease 6.1 miles west of San Augustine in the Carthage Field, the Victoria Anne Unit Well No. 1H was completed by EOG Resources to 19,035 feet. On a 17/64-inch choke the well 9.633 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Three wells were completed in the Carthage Field by Exco Operating.

  The Haley Shale Unit Well No. 1H hit 17,983 feet 5.5 miles northeast of Attoyac and potentialed 15.553 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.

  The Phillips SU Well No. 1H hit 19,364 feet six miles northeast of Chireno and potentialed 13.346 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke.

  The Ward SU Well No. 1H hit 17,482 feet six miles northeast of Chireno and potentialed 10.735 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Shelby County

The Tigers DU Well No. 1H was completed 9.9 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage Field by XTO Energy. This well hit 18,090 feet and potentialed 11.638 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Unit Petroleum completed the Pearson Well No. 1 in the Stockman Field. This well hit 12,172 feet 8.6 miles west of Center. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 24,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.

In a lease 8.8 miles southwest of Huxley in the Carthage Field, the Catherine Well No. 1H has been was completed by Chesapeake Operating to 17,155 feet. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.475 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Tarrant County

The Freddie Unit Well No. 8H was completed by XTO Energy in the East Newark Field. This well hit 12,412 feet 1.7 miles southwest of Rendon and potentialed 2.037 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed three wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Agape Well No. 8H hit 11,669 feet 2.6 miles northwest of Crowley and potentialed 1.428 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The Agape Well No. 9H will hit 11,712 feet 2.6 miles northwest of Crowley and potentialed 4.881 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The Jennings Well No. 1H hit 11,495 feet 3.4 miles west of Everman and on .75-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.993 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

On a 30/64-inch choke the Yeandle Well No. 1H potentialed 5.719 million cubic feet of gas. Vantage Fort Worth completed the well to 11,054 feet in the East Newark Field. Location is within city limits of Arlington with production in the Barnett Shale.

Carrizo Oil & Gas completed the Thornton Unit Well No. 8H to 15,443 feet within the city of Arlington in the East Newark Field. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.183 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

In a lease within city limits of Fort Worth, in the East Newark Field, Quicksilver Resources completed the Boswell Unit Well No. 13H to 9,071 feet. On an open choke the well potentialed  2.148 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
