The Owens Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 1 will be drilled by O'Ryan Oil and Gas to 12,400 feet 14.6 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Nan-Su-Gail (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the R.K. Hosmer Survey, A-269 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.
XTO Energy will drill the Pickett No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 16 to 12,700 feet 5.5 miles southwest of Fairfield in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This (well) is in the D. McGraw Survey, A-407.
Harrison County
The Stroud B. Nesbitt Gas Unit Well No. 3H will be drilled to 15,000 feet 4.9 miles northwest of Marshall in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be drilled by BP America will drill this well in the E. Talley Survey, A-703.
In a lease .1 miles east of Waskom, in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field, the O'Banion Well No. 11 will be drilled by Shelby Operating to 9,800 feet in the W.H. Adams Survey, A-54.
Houston County
The Douglass-Black Heirs Well No. 2 will be drilled to 12,000 feet 17 miles southwest of Crockett in a wildcat field in the I. Lopez Survey, A-50. The well may be drilled in the Fort Trinidad (Dexter) Field, the North Fort Trinidad (Upper Glen Rose) Field, Fort Trinidad (Glen Rose, Glen Rose - D-) Fields, the East Fort Trinidad (Georgetown) Field, the Fort Trinidad (Buda and Edwards Fields.
Johnson County
Chesapeake Operating will drill five new wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
The Sanders View Well No. 2H, the Sanders View Well No. 4H and the Sanders View Well No. 5H are 3.9 miles northeast of Cleburne in the W.G. Cason Survey, A-155.
The Cart Barn Southdam Boatramp (SA) Well No. 1H is 3.5 miles southwest of Cleburne in the J. Pennington Survey, A-704.
The Deann Well No. 6H is within the city limits of Cleburne in the T. Harlow Survey, A-335.
Leon County
BRG Lone Star will drill the Helmcamp Well No. 5 to 10,500 feet two miles northeast of Jewett in the Jewett (Travis Peak) Field. The well is in the T.J. Shawn Survey, A-789 and may be drilled in the Branton (Rodessa) Field, a wildcat field or the Jewett (Pettit) Field.
The Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field will see the Russell "A" Well No. 7 drilled by Valence Operating to 11,000 feet 4.4 miles west of Jewett in the O.W. Burleson Survey, A-140. The well may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field.
Nacogdoches County
The Haynes Unit Well No. 2H, the Haynes Unit Well No. 3H, the Haynes Unit Well No. 4H and the Haynes Unit Well No. 5H will be drilled by EOG Resources in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.
The No. 2H and the No. 3H wells are 7.7 miles northwest of Chireno in the G.W. Rector Survey, A-470. The No. 2H will hit 13,300 feet and the No. 3H will hit 13,600 feet.
The No. 4H and the No. 5H are 7.6 miles northwest of Chireno in the G.W. Rector Survey, A-470. The No. 4H will hit 13,350 feet and the No. 5H will hit 13,700 feet.
Samson Lone Star will drill the Sadie GU Well No. 1H to 13,500 feet 16 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the J.A. Chirino Survey, A-17.
Navarro County
In a lease 4.8 miles north of Richland, in a wildcat field, the M25 Well No. 1 will hit 280 feet by Atmos Energy Corporation, Mid-Tex Div in the J. McNeal Survey, A-8.
Panola County
Samson Lone Star will drillthe Louis Werner Well No. 5H to 9,450 feet 11.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Southeast Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the G. Gillaspy Survey, A-222.
In a lease 2.6 miles southwest of Beckville in the Carthage (Travis Peak 6400) Field, the Julia Whitfield Unit Well No. A2H will be drilled by Chevron U.S.A. to 16,000 feet in the T.M. Scott Survey, A-594.
Red River County
The Deberry Well No. 1 will hit 6,500 feet four miles north of Bogata in a wildcat field by Hageman Energy. The well is in the I. Wilson Survey, A-910 and may be drilled in the Shelton (Cotton Valley) Field.
Robertson County
O'Benco will drill the TXU 9 Well No. 1 to 12,105 feet 6.2 miles east of Bremond in a wildcat field in the W.J. Smith Survey, A-336. The well may be drilled in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.
San Augustine County
The Dennis SU Well No. 1H will be drilled eight miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. Exco Operating will drill this well to 15,000 feet in the D. Cowen Survey, A-87.
Shelby County
In a lease 10.1 miles southeast of Shelbyville, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Ural Well No. 1H will be drilled by XTO Energy to 19,700 feet in the A.G. Scruggs Survey, A-966.
Tarrant County
The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see XTO Energy drill 10 wells to 12,000 feet.

In a lease 4.9 miles northeast of Canton in the Fruitvale Field, the Clyd Barber Well No. 1 will be drilled by Jamex to 11,000 feet in the E. Vansickle Survey, A-885. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
Wood County
Exxon Mobile will drill the Beulah Hargett Well No. 17 to 5,962 feet are within the city limits of Hawkins in the Hawkins (South Paluxy) Field. This well is in the G. Brewer Survey, A-41 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.

Barrow-Shaver Resources completed the Studdard Steward "M" Well No. 1 to 14,495 feet 8.8 miles southeast of Mansfield in the Nan-Su-Gail Field. On a 32/64-inch choke the well potentialed 509,700 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
XTO Energy completed the H.L. & P. Gas Unit Well No. 29 to 14,125 feet two miles southwest of Donie in the Bear Grass Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.074 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
On a 23/64-inch choke the Kirsch Gas Unit Well No. 24 potentialed 817,000 cubic feet of gas. This well was completed to 12,128 feet 5.4 miles east of Teague in the Teague Field by XTO Energy. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
Harrison County
NFR Energy completed the Woodley Well No. 7H to 13,870 feet 4.7 miles southeast of Gill in the North Carthage Field. The well potentialed 1.672 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke in the Cotton Valley.
Johnson County
Devon Energy completed thirteen wells in the East Newark Field.
The Kenny-McCarver (SA) Well No. 1H, the Kenny-McCarver (SA) Well No. 2H and the Kenny-McCarver (SA) Well No. 3H are 17.1 miles north of Cleburne.
The No. 1H hit 11,390 feet and potentialed 2.372 million cubic feet of gas.

XTO Energy completed the Gail King Well No. 10H and the Gail King Well No. 51H 6.3 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass Field.
The No. 10H hit 16,950 feet and on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 4.271 million cubic feet of gas.
The No. 51H hit 19,065 feet and on a 14/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 11.673 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Limestone County
XTO Energy completed two wells.
The Chandler Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1 hit 9,823 feet 3.5 miles southwest of Donie in the Southeast Farrar Field. On a 48/64-inch choke this well potentialed 138,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Pettit formation.
The Manning Gas Unit Well No. 5 hit 13,900 feet 22 miles northeast of Bremond in the Farrar Field. On a 18/64-inch choke this well potentialed 986,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.
Marion County
Shoco Production completed the Terry Estate Well No. 1 to 2,594 feet one mile from Gary in the Marion County Field. The well flowed with 2.5 barrels of crude, no choke size was recorded. Production is in the Shallow.
Nacogdoches County
On a 14/64-inch choke the Wallace Unit Well No. 2H potentialed 8.848 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed to 19,151 feet 9.5 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Carthage Field by EOG Resources. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Panola County
Patara Oil & Gas completed two wells in the Carthage Field.
On a 22/64-inch choke the C. Brooks Well No. 15 potentialed 1.260 million cubic feet of gas. This well hit 10,380 feet 12.9 miles northwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field.
On a 20/64-inch choke the Dobbins GU Well No. 4 potentialed 951,000 cubic feet of gas. This well hit 10,440 feet 12.5 miles northwest of Carthage. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Chevron U.S.A. completed the Emma Eddy Unit Well No. 24H to 12,898 feet 1.6 miles southeast of Beckville in the Beckville Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 510,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
In a lease 6.5 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage Field, Devon Energy completed the Charles Thomas Well No. 18 to 9,811 feet. The well potentialed 680,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
BP America completed the J.T. Brewster Gas Unit Well No. 6 to 9,850 feet five miles west of Carthage in the Carthage Field. The well potentialed 3,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Devon Energy completed the Crenshaw Unit Well No. 11H to 16,325 feet 10.8 miles southwest of Waskom in the Carthage Field. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.971 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Classic Operating completed the Wiener Estate D Well No. 2 in the Carthage Field to 10,950 feet three miles west of Joaquin. This well potentialed 2.899 million cubic feet of gas on a 38/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
On a 48/64-inch choke the John Brooks GU Well No. 6H potentialed 3.939 million cubic feet of gas. Goodrich Petroleum completed this to 16,040 feet eight miles southwest of Tatum in the Beckville Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

XTO Energy completed the Duncan Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 18 to 13,100 feet in the Bald Prairie Field. The well potentialed 1.894 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Rusk County
The Jarrell Unit Well No. 1 was completed by NFR Energy to 12,090 feet 7.3 miles southwest of Pinehill in the Minden Field. On a 26/64-inch choke the well flowed with 18 barrels of crude. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated.
San Augustine County
EXCO Operating completed the Holloway SU Well No. 1HB in the Carthage Field. This well is nine miles northwest of San Augustine and hit 19,606 feet. On a 18/64-inch choke this well potentialed 19.127 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
On a 10/64-inch choke the Fightin' Irish (SL) DU Well No. 1HB potentialed 7.939 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed to 18,972 feet 8.5 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field by XTO Energy. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
XTO Energy completed two new wells in the Carthage Field. The Cowboys Gas Unit Well No. 1 hit 13,280 feet 6.2 miles northwest of San Augustine and potentialed 412,000 cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke.
The Fightin' Irish (SL) DU Well No. 1H hit 19,471 feet 8.5 miles northwest of San Augustine and potentialed 12.095 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Shelby County
The Carthage Field has seen Classic Operating complete two wells.
The May Unit Well No. 2H hit 15,478 feet three miles northwest of Joaquin. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 368,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
The May Unit Well No. 3H hit 12,820 feet three miles northwest of Joaquin. On a 36/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.753 million cubic feet of gas. Production for this well is in the Cotton Valley.
The Wolfpack (SL) DU Well No. 1HB is 10.3 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage Field. XTO Energy completed this well to 19,402 feet. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.964 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Tarrant County
EnCana Oil & Gas completed three wells in the East Newark Field. All were gauged on a 64/64 inch choke.
The Biggs Well No. 4H and the Biggs Well No. 5H are 4.2 miles southwest of Benbrook and were gauged on a 64/64-inch choke.
The No. 4H hit 9,528 feet and potentialed 1.100 million cubic feet of gas.
The No. 5H hit 8,955 feet and potentialed 1.300 million cubic feet of gas.
The Pyramid Acres Unit 5 Well No. 203H hit 8,965 feet 7.2 miles southwest of Benbrook potentialed 1.236 million cubic feet. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Chesapeake Operating completed six wells in the East Newark Field.
The Rock Creek Well No. C4H hit 11,016 feet 12.4 miles southwest of Fort Worth and potentialed 1.748 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Hudson Well No. 8H hit 9,267 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 2.407 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The PVI Unit Well No. 1H hit 9,710 feet 1.6 miles northwest of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.342 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The TCCD North Well No. 1H hit 11,388 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 5.160 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The NW Mercado Well No. 2H hit 11,411 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.217 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Rock Creek Well No. C6H hit 11,390 feet 12.5 miles southwest of Fort Worth and potentialed 2.407 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
There has been three new wells completed by Quicksilver Resources in the East Newark Field and were gauged on a .75-inch choke.
The City of Arlington Unit Well No. 1H, the City of Arlington Unit Well No. 2H and the City of Arlington Unit Well No. 3H are within the city limits of Arlington.
The No. 1H hit 9,696 feet and potentialed 4.985 million cubic feet of gas.
The No. 2H hit 10,775 feet and potentialed 564,000 cubic feet of gas.
