The creator of the other initial LSBD group decided he wanted to take his group another direction and will now focus on Mineral Owners in the LSBD, though this is unusual, it's his group so his call.

However, on GHS, for the last 3 years, we have always had open discussions on the major plays and the LSBD will be no different.

Thanks!

Thanks for the new group, Keith.

Maybe I'm missing it but what happened to all the other LSBD posts and forum?  The way I used to get to it leads me here...

Wow.... im done with this site now.  It had so much potential, sad really.  All that good info in once place just erased because people didnt share the same opinion as one person?!?

The site has gone through several "evolutions" over the last 3 years, just the nature of things.

It hasn't been erased yet, but the threat is that it will be within 48 hours. I agree this is sad, but I guess we can survive it.

For neophytes like myself, there was a lot of useful information (even if a lot of conjecture) in that old group.  Why would it be deleted rather than just closed to new posts?

Agree.  Truly sad all that conversation is gone.  New to this site.  First time commenter.  Really good reference material especially some of the map links that folks posted.

Thanks for setting up this group. We'll try to keep things interesting.

I'll get a well list and maps posted later when I have time.  I encourage group members to post any other reference material that will help newbies.  As an example a How To discussion with links to the AOGC website would be beneficial to those who wish to learn how to do their own database research.

Keith

I am new to the LSBD play. Can you kind of define the boundaries as they are now known?

What have been the results to date? Who are the main players? Is there a site that provides some background?

Thanks

Dick, this group is about 2 hours old.  Much of what you are interested in will be added by members over the course of this first day.  Give us a little time to fill in the basics.
