More tanks and equipment has moved in today. Looks like fracing will start soon!

With this many tanks and the second drill rig finished, does anyone know the length of the horizontal leg of this well. There hasn't been any update on sonris since Dec. Thanks for the update Steve, keep the info and oil flowing !!!!! Just hoping on the OIL PART.

It's really hard to tell anything from the amount of tanks.  Note the large irragation pipe and hose attached to the manifold on the tank.  As they use water from the tanks, they refill them from a nearby pond or water source.  Up here in the F'ville, they use as few as 6, although usually 10, regardless of the lateral length or stages.  When the play was new, they used more tanks as insurence due to limited water sources and such, and that was with shorter laterals.

Wouldn't a newer pic of the frac equipment be great? (Of course, that's easy for me to say, I don't have the plane!)

That's oil in the pits, or least some sort of hydrocarbon, but it's not very much at all. I would guess it's left over from the drilling process. I see a test seperator, a sand seperator, a gas buster or flow back tank, and the two tanks in containment I guess are temp storage tanks for produced oil should they get some. Two tanks is 1000 bbl worth of storage, and they went to the trouble of building a containment berm around them, so maybe they are expecting something?  The large yellow looking trailer in front of the two red tanks is a sand container for the frac crew.  I believe the next step is to test what they have fracced so far, but I don't know that for sure.

Did you happen to get a picture of the frac job itself? It would be interesting to see how many pumps they used.

Sorry I didn't get any of the frac job. Guess I should have been there friday or saturday but I was tied up. I do have more pics taken sunday. I picked out what I thought was the best one to post. Anyone want to see them can email me.
