Which Adams well are you referring to? There are several Adams wells in Shelby County.
The Adams 1H is producing. The rig was there last week for a few days, but not sure for what.
Did anyone ever get any word or rumours as to what that rig was doing at the Adams 1H back in late September?
Our own minerals are right next door to this unit, and last word we had was that Devon was pulling out of the region in late 2011.
Here's the most recent report from TRRC regarding that Adams 1-H well:

Interesting... Devon told us it failed and was capped back during this past summer?!?
This is really interesting... per our contact at Devon, the well has been capped and has NEVER produced anything from it(?)....We have a total of three other wells with Devon and 'another' company that Devon works with up in Shelby, but so far over half of the family has gotten any royalty payments, nothing and were told we won't because they are all capped. However, per the TRRC site, there has been producing as well and still are.
My Brother, Sister and a couple of other relatives have already contacted an attorney. The rest of us are playing it by ear and will see what shakes out with the TRRC (we contacted them) and will reserve the lawyer for awhile yet. Has anyone else run into these problems or 'are we just special'... would not be so bad, but we are still being taxed for 'royalties paid'.
Any input appreciated!!!
Bill R,
Adams 1H was still showing production through December... but not much. You can add this to DG's post above: Nov.- 7566 mcf & Dec. - 7879 mcf. The well has a total (gross) production of 376,226 mcf through December.
The well was retested in October 2011 (G10) and delivered 285 mcf/d with a flowing pressure of 310# and was still producing 98 bbl/d of water (not condensate).
Good luck.
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
