I hear that a company, not Southwestern, is going to drill off Pleasant Hill Road, not far from Charity Road. Does anyone know who is drilling? I don't have township, section, etc...I have been out of town and got behind on the news on this site, so sorry if this has already been discussed.

That's close to where SWN is drilling right now. Why does your informant think another company is about to drill there? Did they get notice of a new unit hearing?
I don't know what they received but the word is this company wants to drill. I have heard the name of the property owner but not township, section....Yes, it is very close to where Southwestern is currently drilling. If I find out more will post.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
