There is a presentation on the SWN website from a couple of days ago in which they talk some what about the bd. I believe Steve Mueller said the frac job on the well you are asking about is to start this week. The way he talked, it is a slow process, so don't expect anything real soon on it. You may want to listen to the presentation yourself. It's on SWN.com, under investor relations, and then presentations...
brenda, I was there yesterday and was told on good auth. that fracking is complete. suppose to production equipment in place next week. they pulled all fracking tanks out yesterday, I met about ten trucks on my way in.
Mueller says in this presentation that the vertical pilot hole and vertical core for the Ora BML well looked exactly as they had expected, with no indications of a high-pressure region. They only encountered the high-pressure region when they got 300 feet into their lateral. This would seem to suggest, since the lateral was drilled from south to north, that the high-pressure area doesn't extend very far in the southward direction. Otherwise they would have seen it in their vertical hole, or am I missing something here?
I would guess it would be Schlumberger. They do most of SWN's work, especially the new stuff.
thats what i figured but I seen a halliburton truck turning down charity road maybe there giving them a chance at cracking the BD code?
That could well be. They are really bad about not calling me and asking my opinion on anything they do.
BML Properties LLC is the owner of the land upon which the well surface site is located. Thus the well name. However I think they should consider a name change should your husband prove prophetic. LOL!
See well plat:

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
