Thanks to Les B we get this kind of info.  I can never get on Sonris and find anything I am looking for.  I have interest in a Chspk well that went on line in May.  I cannot find anything on it at Sonris so I don't know when I'll be paid.  Haven't gotten a division order to sign but someone told me they do not have to do this in Louisiana.  They just leased Haynesville

Shale depth from ElPaso and no one was ever notified even about the lease or the well drilling.  Everything any of the companies do is a big dark secret from the landowner.

Shirley,  the well has not been completed long enough to be paying royalty or have a Division Order forwarded.  You don't have to sign a DO under LA law, you do have to supply a SS number.  Unless your lease requires it, you will not receive notice of your lease being assigned.  LA law requires Interested Parties receive notice for unit applications and alternate unit well locations but not for a well permit.  You can track well permits and well scout reports on SONRIS Lite.  You might want to join the SONRIS Help Center group for some assistance.

There is no legal requirement for the operators to seek out land owners and tell them what they own/dont own etc. It would very costly for a business to begin a massive public educational campaign that is has no business gain for the operator. The best bet would be a state sponsored program (haha for right now in Louisiana). It is the land owner's responsibility to reseach and become educated. Its not too difficult of an undertaking. There is some great information available on this site. Reading the mineral code is wise.
