I hope we can get some info from this conference, but the SWN website does not show that a webcast will be available. They do show a webcast for the Barclay's conference on Sept 6, however.

If you go to the SWN website and sign up for alerts they send you a reminder email.  That's what this is.  This is the second of three scheduled webcasts or presentations coming in the near future.  Here is a cut and past of the email.

I just looked and don't see this webcast archived.  Did anyone listen to it or was it broadcast?

No broadcast.  The next will be in a week or so, the Barclays thing on Sep 6

Never mind, I see it's already been pointed out.

I'll be on Toledo Bend so you guys can figure it out and post a link if indeed there is a broadcast.  As you can see above someone at SWN thinks there is a broadcast.

I know some folks at SWN that think they would rather be with you on Toledo Bend...

I'd invite them for Labor Day weekend but I'm short on space.  LOL! I'll feel much better about taking a few days off if they would just go ahead and permit a couple of new LSBD wells.

Remember that SWN will be presenting at the 2012 Barclays CEO Energy/Power Conference tomorrow morning at 8:05 AM CDT. Apparently there will be a webcast, for which one can sign up at the SWN website.

Thanks for the reminder, obed.  I'll be off chasing Fall in the Ouachita Mountains with access to only a dial up connection.  I will log in to see comments regarding the presentation with the hope that SWN has something positive to say.

I just finished listening to the Barclays webcast by SWN. The replay of the webcast will be available shortly at the SWN website. Steve Mueller didn't have much more hard data on the Brown Dense, but he assessed their chances of success in the BD at about 40% as of right now. He said that by year's end this will have either gone up to 70-80%, or will have decreased almost to zero. He said the biggest unknown factor right now is the 3-month declne rate.

I've been concerned about decline rates since the early wells were shut in for extended pressure tests.  Although BD wells may be different, the usual reason for doing so is related to unexpected declines in flow rates.
