what is that big piece of equipment by the fence? Do you get any royalty based on what the flare burned?
This well is on Scotty Beard Rd. I live on Wilkerson Rd. This thing has a tank and a lot of valves and looks like it has to be hooked uped to something. This is all new to me. I do know a little about drilling, not much but I would really like to know what is going on. The global people have been every where I see them in the mornings when I get gas. I asked one of them if they knew anything about that well and they said they were only surveying property. By road my house is about 1 mile from the site, from the woods it is only about a 1/4 mile. I have pictures of the flare one night from the top of my pool ladder. This is all so interesting to me. Thank you for responding!

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
