Does anyone know why Stone is trying to sell their leases in the TMS? How is  the drilling activity(if any) in Wilkinson County?

Crosby frack is complete - 23 stages. Should start drilling out plugs tonight or tomorrow. Maybe someone local will get some unofficial production rumors by Friday, if all goes well.

Rumor circulating that Ventress well (west of Woodville) will spud in October. As with all wells, spud dates are subject to change so don't count on anything happening til it does.

Sounds good. Thanks, Steve

Petition of Encana for Permit to drill:

Welborn 40H-1 & 2-1,900 acres in Wilkinson Co: T1N R1E (S 25,32,33,34,40 &47) to be heard in October.

Darden 41H-1 & 2-1,901 acres in Wilkinson Co: T1N R1E (S 25,31,41&46) to be heard in October

How many wells has Encana got permits for in the last few months?

That has to be 5 at least. They must have some rigs on backorder coming in.

More than 5 and then there are those permits already granted and waiting. By the way the Welborns and Darden wells had in the permits that they might drill up to 8 wells per pad. Now we are talking some oil. Who knows, 2014 may surprise us all.
