Thanks, Obed.

The Plum Creek 13 is within 300 feet of total depth after 11 days drilling. This must be a record for the Brown Dense.

Any news on the drilling progress of this well? Based on the new allowable for the Tom Rosa and the new application from SWN to drill another Sharp well it will be interesting to see if this high pressure zone is productive in the Plum Creek well.

Golfoil, in their presentation this morning SWN said they had finished drilling the well. Here is a link to the presentation.

Here is the report of 11/13/13 from SONRIS Lite confirming that the Plum Creek 13 has TD'd and casing has been set:

11/5/13, RE-TEST BOP'S. 11/5/13, REACHED TOTAL DEPTH OF 9378'. 11/9/13, SET 5 1/2" CASING AT 9378' WITH 195 SACKS OF CEMENT. STATUS DATE: 11/9/13

12 day spud to TD time, for a vertical, will probably come down a lot in development mode with experienced crews?

Is the Plum Creek 13 "well" the one that was the subject of a hearing on 4 December 2012, Docket #12-695 and/or 12-696 (link below).

I am having an extremely difficult time navigating the SONRIS website and understanding what I am seeing.

I am asking because I own 126 acres contiguous to the drilling unit which was the subject of the above hearing for a drilling application. Obviously, I am interested in what is going on.

I am in desperate need of education here, if the Plum Creek 13 "Well" is the test well from the Dec 2012 hearing, then what does all the discussion in this thread mean?

I am not part of the current drilling unit, but if the test well is successful, what is the likely next event with Southwest? Will they increase the size of the drilling unit and begin drilling other wells, hopefully including on my property.

I have pasted in a description of the location of my 126 acres below. I would appreciate it if someone could take a minute and explain this all to me so a "1st grader can understand"

Thanks
Ben

TRACT 1: That certain tract or parcel ofland, containing 86.00 acres, more or less, lying and being located in the Southeast Quarter (SEl4) ofSection 24, Township 22 North, Range I West, Union Parish, Louisiana.

TRACT 2: That certain tract or parcel of land, containing 40.00 acres, more or less, lying and being located in the Northeast Quarter of Northeast Quarter (NE/4 ofNE/4) ofSection 25, Township 22 North, Range I West, Union Parish, Louisiana.

Ben, the unit you referenced above in section 21 T22N R1W contains Southwestern's Johnson 21 vertical well. The Plum Creek 13 well discussed in this thread is 7 miles north and 3 miles west of the Johnson 21, in section 13 T23N R2W. It looks like your property in sections 24 and 25 of T22N R1W is actually closest to the Dean wells in section 31 T22N R1E. Section 25 T22N R1W corners with section 31 T22N R1E on the northeast. The Dean vertical well will pay out, according to Southwestern, so your property looks to be in a good location.. It is only 4 miles west of the Sharp vertical well, which is Southwestern's best well yet in the Brown Dense. Good luck!

You can see a map of the wells that have  been drilled so far in the Brown Dense on page 14 or 15 of the following link:

http://www.swn.com/investors/LIP/latestinvestorpresentation.pdf

Correction: In my message above I should have said section 25 T22N R1W corners with section 31 T22N R1E on the northwest corner of the latter.

Obed, thank you very much for the information. It helps fill in a lot of blanks. My sister and I have our fingers crossed that Southwest will expand the drilling unit to include our property.

Has there been any updates on the Plum Creek well since they TD'd this well?

SONRIS Lite finally reported today that the Plum Creek well, as of 11/10/2013, is officially classified as "Inactive Dryhole-Future Utility", but we now know that this means nothing, as SWN's best well to date, the Sharp, also has this classification. I think SWN is testing the Plum Creek well and a 3-month allowable for it will probably show up on SONRIS soon.
