Monthly Production from L SMK RA SUA in Ora Field (Combined BML and Doles Figures)

SONRIS Lite is now reporting cumulative oil and gas production for the month of January, 2013, for the L SMK RA SUA unit in the Ora Field of Union Parish, which contains the BML and Doles horizontals. The figures, which appear to be total unit production from both wells, are 17,752 barrels of oil (condensate?) and 123,361 MCF of gas. Assuming this is for 31 days, this is equivalent to 573 BOPD and 3979 MCFD. The state potential tests were run for both wells on or about January 31, 2013 and showed combined production of 511 BOPD and 4353 MCFD. So it appears that daily production did not drop precipitously during the month. Of course we don't know how much choke settings were changed during the month. It will be interesting to see how the output holds up in the next few months.

This is not yet posted on SONRIS Lite, Brenda, but it could appear there at any time. It was posted a little early last month, but usually is up by the 25th of the month.

September production for the BML/Doles:

119 bbls condensate per day (up 14.4% from August)

1910 MCF gas per day (up 24.8% from August)

October production for the BML/Doles, as reported by SONRIS:

99 bbls condensate per day (down 16.7% from September)

1797 MCFD of gas ( down 5.9% from September)

Also, DT-1 tests were run on both the Doles and BML on 10/2/2013:

The Doles produced 27 bbls condensate and 175 bbls water through a 40/64-inch choke, as compared with 61 bbls condensate and 281 bbls water through a 34/64-inch choke on 4/23/2013. This represents an average decline rate over 162 days of 14.2% per month, or 84.0% per year, not accounting for the increase  in choke size.

The BML on the latest DT-1 test produced 89 bbls condensate and 40 bbls water through a 24/64-inch choke, as compared with 139 bbls condensate and 60 bbls water through a 22/64-inch choke on 4/27/2013. This represents an average decline rate over 158 days  of  8.2% per month, or 64.2% per year, not accounting for the slight increase in choke size.

So the BML is definitely producing much better and declining at a slower rate than the Doles.

November production from the BML/Doles:

97.3 bbls condensate per day (down 1.7% from October)

1605 MCFD of gas (down 10.7% from October)
