Thanks for setting up this discussion, Skip.
It might be worth noting that from this same pad, EnCana will likely drill another well on a second unit, the Lawson25-13H.
So, I would expect the Trinidad Drilling Rig # 124 to report a "move" around the end of January that amounts to simply shuffling the rig over a few feet and then spudding in the new well.
John Wesley,
Last I heard they hoped to spud in on Friday...this was early Wednesday and I haven't inquired since.
I heard they spud this well today. Can anyone confirm?
ECA has another pad site on Pepper House Road off Hwy 48 in Amite County between Centerville and Liberty that looks ready to me - the Lyons well site. Maybe we will get a well calendar update in the morning at ECA's presentation.
I understand the Pintard on the other side of Centreville is also being worked on and the Horseshoe Hill site should be ready...other sites are, behind the scenes, gearing up, as well.
ECA said in its last presentation that they plan 1-3 rigs for the TMS in 2014. From the number of sites they have planned I can't see how 1 rig would be all they plan to use. Maybe they will give more guidance in the morning with their webcast.
Trinidad Drilling Rig #124 has not spud but is still listed as Moving On, 12/13.
Word is the plan was for them to spud today...haven't heard, yet, if they did or not.
John Wesley,
I'm not aware of anything dealing with the Anderson wells at this time.
If you're talking about the Longleaf unit, I'm not sure where they plan to access the site, but the site is set.
As to the Lawson well...as of this morning I was told by the landowner they were drilling...let's hope they are back on track.
If so, they should be finished drilling in the next couple of weeks.
I went with Mr. Lawson to the pad yesterday, said they had been there for 2 weeks already and been drilling most of that time, they were putting casing down yesterday, which makes me thing maybe they have hit the turn. I have pictures of it on facebook under the page drilltims

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
