Does anyone know of any planned activity in Section 6 of Stonewall area? I see rigs all around but have not leased my land yet, and I am curious how this will work if they begin drilling prior to me leasing?

Thanks

what township and range are you in
t14 r 14
Didn't Encana force pool Sections 6,7,8,18 in that township and range? Maybe someone on here can tell us about these sections.
i recieved papers that encana wanted to force pool, but do not know if they were successfull if i am force pooled and not leased to anyone yet where does that leave me in the scheme of things? any help would be appreciated!!!!
Jason, basically if you are unleased then you are a carried owner in any well drilled in your unit (section). This means the operator will recoup your share of drilling and operating cost from your share of production. Once costs are recouped the operator would pay you any remaining revenue from production. Your owner percentage is based on surface acreage in the unit. For example if you own 32 acres in a 640 acre unit, your ownership share would be 5%.
looks like it would not be favorable for someone to force pool on such a high producing well as the haynesville's are you must loose some rights being forced pooled. seems mor favoable that they would suck up everyone willing to lease and i have not even been approached. a well of 23 MCF per day could pay out in ten monts easily and if i understand this right i will then recieve 100 percent of my acerage, but there must be a catch with them tieing up revenue genrated or somthing. who would not like to be a working partner in multiple well sections? i am more confused daily. how will i even know when they are going to drill in the section i am in and how can i knowthat i am being paid for my minerals once production has begun.
Jason, EnCana has probably leased most of the acreage in your section or may plan to lease before drilling.

After payout you would receive revenue less operating costs.

The operator is supposed to keep you informed and make payments but I suggest you keep track of activity in your section via Sonris.
Kitty, attached is the unitization request by EnCana for those sections. The hearing was held on December 9th but results have not been posted.

Thanks Les. Encana already has a rig up on Long Rd. in Sec. 8. They moved that rig in about Nov. 10. I think the next well they are going to drill is in Sec. 18, but can't say that for absolute surety. Does anyone on here know where Encana plans to put their next well in T14 R14 Desoto?
Exco almost finish one S24--14-14
