I was offered 350 an acre and 3/16th royalty for a 60 acre tract of land in Lincoln Parish. Section 3, township 17 north, range 5 west. The brokerage firm is Mark A O'Neal and associates. That would not tell me the company they were leasing for. They said they might be willing to go 500 an acre and 1/5 royalty. I would love to know what company they were representing so I would know who I am dealing with. Anybody have any insights on this?

Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
