AIX and NextEra were partners in the Claiborne Parrish wells. In August 2014 they divided up the wells, with AIX to continue to operate them. In early 2015 Petro-Chem took over operation of the NextEra wells with Petro-Chem being responsible beginning in March 2015.

I am speculating here, but I assume NextEra switched to Petro-Chem because AIX was not paying royalties to the landowners. AIX still owes us for royalty payments from November 2014 to February 2015.

We signed a lease with AIX & NextEra 3 years ago and about 2 years ago Whiting acquired the lower part of the lease for the Lower Smackover.  Lease is up last part of August 2015.  Hoping for a new lease in the future.  Hopefully not AIX.
