"Dogwooded". Meh, Do you have cash in hand? Is your area even organized to the point of brokering a deal? Will they skip your area and set up camp in another area that is willing to play ball at a dollar amount Twin Cities/Chesapeake is willing to pay? If they drill in Dogwood, will they want to drill in your area in the next 5 years? Is my 8750 worth what they will offer you 5 years down the road? Come on, this is a business deal and you arent doing anything but sitting in front of your computer to profit from it! What kind of deal are you getting? I would love to know.

As far as negotiating like an Oil and Gas attorney... you have to pay that attorney my friend. At what rate? 15%? 20%?

p.s. did you coin that phrase "Dogwooded"? That is the first time i've heard it.
How Much did the HOA make on this hosing? Area appears to be worth 15,000 and 25%. Min. But what do I know?

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
