Franklin County

I thought there was a group for Franklin County, but I guessed I dreamed it. Anyone interested? I know a bunch of us have been contacted by Standard Lithium for brine leases. Some have signed. We haven’t.

Texas-based GeoFrame Energy won over Franklin County officials and landowners with commitments to hire locally, answer questions and protect the land

“The key thing we wanted to tell you is, you guys are sitting on a gold mine.”

That’s how GeoFrame Energy CEO Bruce Cutright opened a meeting this past month in a packed conference room in Mount Vernon, population 2,500, a half hour east of Sulphur Springs in Franklin County.

GeoFrame Energy has filed a W-1 with the Texas Railroad Commission that request a permit to drill a geothermal well near the location described in the Longview News-Journal.

You are still in Shale Related Topics.  When you post in the Franklin County group, it won't say Shale Related Topics, it will say Franklin County.

We are sooooooo close to signing with Standard Lithium— but just as we were finishing up, I heard there was a lease with percentage royalty applied to gross— not net.

We had given up on gross, and are still ready to sign a royalty on net.

I want one last effort to find out if it’s true that there are new leases on gross. I don’t think there are.

Anyone know something we should know? We will rightly reevaluate with new info.
