Bossier shale and cotton valley shale common in parts ofcentral tx

Just finished an "s" well in robertson county texas . Hit cotton valley shale at 14,280' , bossier shale at 14950', boisser sand 14,630 to 15,375. below that ragan sand to 16,500' . 50 to 60 million cf per day not uncommon

Looks like there have been some good wells in Robertson Co. lately:

EnCana completed four new wells in the John Amoruso Field. The McLean Well No. D2 is hit 16,500 feet 11.1 miles northeast of Franklin. It potentialed 20.029 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. The Russell Unit Well No. 3 hit 15,900 feet 8.9 miles northeast of Franklin. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 46.116 million cubic feet of gas. The McLean Well No. A3 hit 15,840 feet 9.4 miles northeast of Franklin. On a 24/64-inch choke and potentialed 20.983 million cubic feet of gas. The Laxson Well No. 5 is 15,950 feet 9.3 miles northeast of Franklin. On a 32/64-inch choke the well potentialed 33.757 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier.

EnCana Oil & Gas completed the McLean Well No. A 4 and the Hanhart Well No. 1 in the John Amoruso Field. The No. A 4 hit 16,000 feet 10.3 miles east of Franklin. It potentialed 21.341 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke.

The No. 1 hit 15,800 feet 6.3 miles northeast of Franklin. It potentialed 11.859 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Bossier.
