it was on the surface??

Just a typo I am sure, you will see all kinds of crazy things on sonris. Les B probably knows.
I would think they are talking about the wellhead or christmas tree, but not in this context....
This is in a well that was drilled in December 2008
Where is the well?
Tim, do you have a serial number or well name and parish?
It's not a Haynesville well but they did go almost 11,000. Here is the well info and it is in Red River

Tim, to your original question - I am not sure why the reference to 10,255' since, as you stated, the tree is at the surface. I am going to assume it could be the depth to which they ran the tubing.

It looks as though J-W tests multiple Hosston & CV stringers in all these CV wells they drill in the Woodwardville and then end up commingling multiple zones. In this well the lower perfs must have been at the very bottom of the CV zone. The upper set of perfs could be either upper CV or lower Hosston.
