Attached is a listing of units for the Haynesville Shale in NW Louisiana I complied this weekend. This list includes both approved units and those which are still in the application stage. Units that have not yet been approved by the Commission may be modified before final approval. The list does not include some units that may be more relevant to gas production from the Haynesville Sand.

this is great information, thanks for all your work. Is this cumulative for 2008 and to date of 2009?
B, this includes all unit applications thru last week.
thanks les, great stuff. i didnt realize how much action is coming south. hopefully it works out for natchitoches parish also.
Nothing below Township 8 North, that seems to be the cutoff point for now.
Les,

I notice you have Sec.23-15-15 in DeSoto, please check that,my sister has a well in that Section and she is in Caddo Parish. It may jump the Parish line, I am not sure. I do not think it does. Great Stuff and a lot of Work. Your are appreciated from this household.
DaddyT, thanks for the heads up and I made the correction. The parish line is further to east in Sections 24 & 25.
Thanks for the great information and your time....
I should know this but what is the difference and what doe sit mean if you are JUR RA SUG or JUR RA SUH or JUR RA SU_ fill in the blank?
What does the SU?, signify?
JUR = Jurassic
RA=?

Thanks in advance for the enlightenment.
VSC,

R - Reservoir, so RA means Reservoir A
SU - Sand Unit, so SUG would be Sand Unit G. This is the most relevant.
Thanks guy, appreciate all the work putting this together.

gotta go cut some wood ...
can any one tell e just how big in miles square the haynesville shale is,and just how far east does it go I have 357 acres in beinville toward the east, thank you
Mark, the Haynesville Shale seems to cover a minimum of 5500 square miles based on preliminary maps. There is still a lot of debate regarding how far east and south the productive area extends in Louisiana.
