It appears that the only postivie outlook for Sabine County is on the Petrohawk map. Is that how you read it?

The only problem with Sabine is so far technical, not geological in my opinion.

The HA gets deeper and hotter as you go south. Shalegeo has posted some interseting posts about formation temp. There also have been some discusions about how higher temps are hard on equipment.

Thanks for the info. It is interesting that Encana has a much better outlook for Natchitoches and Sabine. But I always wonder if that is based more on the fact that they have more leases in those areas.

They may just be playing the hand they were delt. Its too late to create a large leasehold in caddo and desoto.
