Freestone County

XTO Energy will drill the McMichael "B" Unit Well No. 10 to 12,800 feet 2.3 miles southwest of Fairfield, in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier) Field in the I.H. Reed Survey, A-23.


XTO Energy will drill the Cosson Gas Unit Well No. 21, No. 22 and No. 24 to 12,400 feet in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 21 and No. 22 wells are 3.9 miles southeast of Teague in the J. Strickland Survey, A-551. The No. 24 is 4.5 miles southeast of Teague in the J. Lawrence Survey, A-364.



Gregg County

Unit Petroleum will drill the Falvey GU Well No. 1 to 13,500 feet 2.1 miles west of Lakeport in the H. Hoover Survey, A-91.


Shoco Production will drill the Burton Well No. 1 to 8,500 feet 8.2 miles southeast of Longview in the F. Thorn Survey, A-5.


Harrison County

Samson Lone Star will drill the C&E Trice Well No. 1H to 11,531 feet 6.5 miles southeast of Karnack in the Waskom (Haynesville) Field in the R.T. Long Survey, A-414.


Devon Energy will drill the Mann Well No. 4H to 14,000 feet 7.3 miles southwest of Waskom in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. It is in the B.F. Hooper Survey, A-296.


Samson Lone Star will drill the Kain GU 1 Well No. 1 to 13,000 feet five miles northwest of Elysian Fields in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. It is in the S.C. Garner Survey, A-276. It may be drilled in the Waskom (Haynesville) Field or a wildcat field.


Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill the Fults Gas Unit Well No. 1H in the North Carthage (Bossier Shale) Field to 14,000 feet 8.9 miles west of Elysian Fields in the B. Anderson Survey, A-29.


Classic Operating will drill the Holcombe Unit Well No. 3 to 11,000 feet seven miles southwest of Elysian Field in the North Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. It is in F.G. Timms Survey, A-702.


Comstock Oil & Gas will drill the Woods "H" Well No. 1H in the North Carthage (Bossier Shale) Field to 11,500 feet 8.3 miles southwest of Marshall in the J. Payne Survey, A-543.


Nacogdoches County

Samson Lone Star will drill the James Lewis GU 1 Well No. 6 and the Jenny Beth GU 1 Well No. 10 to 12,000 feet in the West Douglass (Travis Peak) Field. The No. 6 is 10 miles northwest of Nacogdoches. The No. 10 is 10.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches. Both are in the De Los Santos Coy, M&Bros. Survey, A-21. The No. 6 may be drilled in the Little Ears (Pettit Lime), the Miyagi (Pettit) or the East Nacogdoches, (James Lime) Fields. The No. 10 may be drilled in the East Nacogdoches, (James Lime), the Miyagi (Pettit) Field the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field or a wildcat field.


EOG Resources will drill the Hill Well No. 1 to 17,000 feet 18.2 miles east of Nacogdoches in a wildcat field. It is in the J.I. YBarbo Survey, A-60.


Samson Lone Star will drill the K. Moore Well No. 1 to 12,000 feet 12 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the West Douglass (Travis Peak) Field. It is in the J. Tobar Survey, A-54. It may be drilled in the Miyagi (Pettit) Field, the East Nacogdoches, (James Lime) Field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field.


Navarro County

Texas M.O.R. will drill the McKinney Wells No. 6B and No. 11B to 1,999 feet 4.1 miles east of Corsicana in the Corsicana (Shallow) Field in the W.R. Bowen Survey, A-57.


Panola County

XTO Energy will drill the Louis Werner Sawmill Well No. 13H to 16,300 feet in a lease 3.1 miles southwest of DeBerry in the North Carthage (Bossier Shale) Field. It is in the J. Parmer Survey, A-899.


Patara Oil & Gas will drill the C. Brooks Well No. 9 to 10,300 feet 13 miles northwest of Carthage, in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. It is in the J.M. Tompkins Survey, A-677. This well may be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley), the Itex (Pettit), the Beckville (Travis Peak), the Beckville (Pettit 6800), the Fairplay, Northeast (Travis Peak) or the Itex (Travis Peak) Field.


XTO Energy will drill the Louis Werner Sawmill Well No. 14H to 16,300 feet 4.7 miles southwest of DeBerry in the North Carthage (Bossier Shale) Field in the J. Parmer Survey, A-899.


Anadarko E&P will drill the CGU 4 Well No. 13 to 12,000 feet 3.1 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. It is in the A. Moorman Survey, A-427.


Chesapeake Operating will drill the Pace Well No. 1H in the North Carthage (Bossier Shale) Field to 18,000 feet 17.8 miles northeast of Carthage in the S.B. Lacy Survey, A-401.


Robertson County

XTO Energy will drill the Wiese Well No. 2 to 14,900 feet 3.1 miles southwest of Hearne in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It is in the G.A. Nixon Survey, A-31. It may be drilled in a wildcat field.


Rusk County

NFR Energy will drill the John Hardy Well No. 9H to 12,000 feet three miles southwest of Henderson in the Minden (Cotton Valley) Field. It is in the T. Jones Survey, A-450.


M.E. Operating & Services will drill the Rice Well No. 2 to 11,200 feet 9.2 miles southeast of Henderson in the D. Reel Survey, A-31. It may be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley), the Southeast Brachfield (Cotton Valley), the Minden (Rodessa Hill), the Minden (Travis Peak) or the North Laneville (Lower Pettit) Fields.


Shelby County

Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the Wyatt Gas Unit Well No. 4 to 14,000 feet 9.3 miles southwest of Center in the Angie (James Lime) Field. It is in the N.T. January Survey, A-1082.


Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the O.D. Mitchell Unit Well No. 1H to 9,500 feet 10.32 miles southwest of Center in the Angie (James Lime) Field. It is in the O.D. Mitchell Survey, A-989.


Chesapeake Operating will drill the Carzenava Well No. 1H to 18,000 feet 3.8 miles northwest of Center in the E. Carzenava Survey, A-96.



COMPLETIONS

Angelina County

EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Preston Heirs Unit Well No. 8 to 11,930 feet 2.9 miles east of Wells in the Rocky Springs Field. On a 25/64 inch choke the well potentialed 3.657 million cubic feet of gas in the U.G.R.


Gregg County

Russell-Ft. Trinidad Operating completed the Allyene Russell Well No. 1 to 8,445 feet .5 miles south of Liberty City in a wildcat field. The well flowed with 37.5 barrels of crude, no choke size recorded.


Harrison County

Anadarko E&P completed the Letourneau EtAl 5 Well No. 10 to 10,825 feet 14.8 miles southwest of Marshall in the Oak Hill Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 1.373 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.


Penn Virginia Oil & Gas completed the Foreman Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 14,256 feet 6.1 miles west of Elysian Field in the North Carthage Field. On a 17/64 inch choke the well potentialed 5.492 million cubic feet of gas in the Bossier Shale formation.


Limestone County

Stroud Petroleum completed the Watson Well No. 3 to 11,750 feet 8.3 miles west of Donie in the Freestone Field. It potentialed 2.296 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64 inch choke in the Cotton Valley-Bossier.


Nacogdoches County

Burk Royalty completed the Jeannine Crump Well No. 2 to 9,975 feet 14.5 miles north of Nacogdoches in the Wanders Creek Field. On a 16/64 inch choke the well potentialed 850,000 cubic feet of gas in the Travis Peak.


Panola County

Devon Energy completed the Carthage Gas Unit 112 Well No. 13 to 9,630 feet 5.3 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. It potentialed 2.304 million cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke in the Cotton Valley.


Chevron U.S.A. completed the Werner G Unit Well No. 5 to 7,985 feet 13.3 miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. The well potentialed 826,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke in the Travis Peak.


Anadarko E&P completed the CGU 8 Well No. 13-R to 9,977 feet 3.9 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 738,000 cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


Robertson County

EnCana Oil & Gas completed two new wells. The McLean Well No. F3 hit 16,050 feet 11.2 miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso Field. It potentialed 22.641 million cubic feet of gas a 21/64 inch choke. The Sublett Well No. 2 hit 16,350 feet 10.4 miles northeast of Franklin in the Hilltop Resort. It potentialed 15.779 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64 inch choke in the Bossier.


Rusk County

Energen Resources completed the A. Minor Gas Unit Well No. 18 to 10,600 feet five miles northwest of Tatum in the Oak Hill Field. It potentialed 1.423 million cubic feet of gas on an 18/64 inch choke in the Cotton Valley formation.


Chinn Exploration completed the Whitehead Well No. 3 to 11,255 feet 6.5 miles west of Henderson in the East Henderson Field. On a 16/64 inch choke it potentialed 876,000 cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


Cabot Oil & Gas completed Birdwell Gas Unit Well No. 3to 10,870 feet 3.3 miles northwest of Minden in the Southeast Brachfield Field.


The well potentialed 1.063 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


Wood County

Exxon Mobil completed the Hawkins Field Unit Well No. 1063 and No. 1136 in the Hawkins Field. The No. 1063 hit 6,963 feet and flowed with 7.1 barrels of crude on 1/64 inch choke.


The No. 1136 well hit 7,188 feet and flowed with two barrels of crude on a 1/64 inch choke. Both wells are 1.6 miles northwest of Hawkins.

Just how far do you think this goes?
IMO, around Hearne, TX. intrepid, can't you drag these wells a little closer to East Texas. Good Wells! LOL!
I've been noticing those good wells on the ETDR since somebody on here mentioned it and they are good wells. Hope we can see production like that in Nacogdoches and Shelby counties.............elsewhere too of course. :)
