They are already leased.
4300 Parkway Drive, Firestation #4 (the old firestation). I believe that it started @ 9 a.m. today and will be open for most of the day.
I have signed up with southbossier coaltion and am continuing to commmunicate this to others so they don't make mistakes that other have made previously with signing to early with twin cities(big fat mistake)Later, thanks for spreading the word,I want what is best for our entire neighboorhood and the people that live there.
Many are signing up at the firestation. Not signing to lease their land at this time, but agreeing to come forward with opportunity to try to educate themselves about this instead of running solo and taking the $100-$250 offers that the uninformed have in the past. Kudos for those trying to organize this whether it be for themselves, or their neighbor. From my understanding they're not oil/gas reps, just a few looking out for what's best at no charge.
Bottom line---Knowledge is Power!

Oh, btw, there's a meeting for ALL Bellaire/Pecan Park residents on Monday the 28th @ 6:30, Bellaire Church. You don't like what you hear then don't stick around but at least try to find out what some have got to say. And don't forget about the Chamber meeting for Bossier at BPCC on the 29th from 6-8.
AMEN!!!
don't do it; they're not neighbors. I've met them; don't do it.
I don't know who you are referring to... but the people at the fire station and Bellaire Church Bill Lowery & Toney Charles) are neighbors doing this for nothing I have been working with them for Sun City. Get your information straight before you post something.
You aren't a neighbor...and you have your facts wrong AGAIN.
I was out of town and unable to attend the Bellaire meeting. Anyone know how it went, and discussion topics? Did the Bellaire meeting include Shady Grove, parkway and other areas as well?
The South Bossier Home Owners Coalition includes, Bellaire, Pecan Park, Sun City & Shady Grove. They meet at the old firestation on Parkway Dr and Bellaire Baptist Church. They are neighbors! They intend on joining with the South Gate group once they have 90% of the neighborhoods signed. They also have an attorney working with them that is also a south Bossier resident that is working for FREE! Bill Lowery( Schuler Dr) & Toney Charles( Lark St) are the contacts. I don't feel like I shold post thier numbers, but they are both in the phone book. If you haven't attended a meeting please do so and get your name on the list. Or just give them a call.
Thanks! I will look them up tonight.
Thanks for the info Tnattin. If you know? What are the upfront terms (mininum amount and percentage of royalties) they are going to be asking for? Just feel that needs to be stated up-front prior to signing anything. I mean you can pool 90% of the folks however it will be more difficult without a specified minimum upfront amount, we have the land and should have the say-so in the amount, based on what others are receiving. By others I'm refering to local parishes not the one's whom have already been taken by the 5500 offer or less. I feel If the Parish mineral acre is worth $30K plus, ours should be as well... maybe even more now due to Petrohawks big hit at Elm Grove, looking at the big picture, were really close to Elm Grove. Sorry Tnattin, just venting,.. lol.
