JHH,

Nice try, I just bet $100 straight up on Fresian Fire, of course he comes stumbling out of the gate and I was toast before they even made it the quater pole. That was an exciting race, I was more than happy to lose my money to Calvin Borel and Mine That Bird. I think the Preakness will be a different story, the track conditions will be a lot different. We need to come up with a trifecta box for the Prerakness.
My wife only attends the track on Big race days, well she really goes to the casino.. but they were so crowded she came over to the race track part of Lad to get a seat....I had my form and tip sheets and totally had dismissed the 8 horse.

she remined me that Borel used to be my favorite jockey, that I told her anything can happen on a muddy track, that our daughter birthday was 8/8/...etc...

I placed a $2 win / place bet for her on Calvin [ 8 horse]....and nothing on them for me....... well you know the rest
