kaufman, jamesco, and james collella,
who i beleive to be one in the same, its a real eye opener when we see people whos arguments are so weak that they have to create additional characters to support their own weak minded ideas.
i too am a land owner with timber operations and i also have ongoing oil and gas operations.
i know where the moneys at !

When I read Kaufman's post, my 1st thought was "this must be jamesco's clone". Other than "sour grapes" for reasons unknown, I still can't make out exactly what he's trying to get at, other than to call all of us out, once again, for reasons unknown. Many of the mineral owners I know also have trees. Frankly, I like having both. Jamesco, Kaufman, or whoever you are, remember what Eddie Chiles used to say on that TV commercial back in the 80's......If you don't have an oil well........just go get you one!
Lillie,
Almost anything is possible with this Haynesville blessing.
I'm curious. How did you find out about the Haynesville Shale? Was it through local family or from reading about it?
Inform your fellow Michiganders that America's natural gas resources is GREEN, it's abundant, and if the automakers will wake up and make CNG autos, it will restore prosperity to Michigan and the entire US.
Best wishes for you and your mother with your land in Rodessa.
Hi LP , I heard about the shale by relatives in California and Texas. As for G.M. yes they made some mistakes but they are trying very hard to correct them now.
Going back to the title of this thread....What existing wells are any experts using to define the southeastern edge of the area? There haven't been very many at all drilled in eastern to southeastern RR Parish in recent years (East and south of Martin). I know the general consensus is that it gets deepter and hotter in this area, but I was just wondering whether or not any older well logs showed anything definite.
Does anyone know if 17N, 15W, s30 is considered to be in the core part?
Thanks ShaleGeo for the map! The south half of T17, 15W looks mysteriously blank of units or wells! Wonder what the deal is on that.
Looking on the Caddo Clerk sight, it looks like everyone in that section has leased to JPD but Us! They leased way back in October. You are probably right, they cant drill em all at one time, can they! Thanks for the info. We are living in Florida and We use this sight to try and keep up with whats going on in Our area.
Hope You are right! Thats good to hear that JPD is Chesapeake, I thought so but wasnt for sure.
