It has been confirmed to me that a person leased his 40 acres of property on the Harts Bluff Road which is between Hwy 191 and Hwy 481 in South desoto parish for 22,500 per acre from Chk.

Probably Hunter Community {DESOTO} I fail to understand why when you get to the sabine parish line we take a 10,000.00 hit.

alot of Sabine on 191 was leased several years ago to Pennical Oil. It is with Chk. Alot are under production. Hunter is only about 7-8 miles north of Sabine Parish line on 191

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
