Some of my neighbors along Black Bayou have gotten letters from Petrohawk. My church leased to Twin Cities. Has anybody heard about Woodlake North and South and other homes along Black Bayou. Also what about the lake commission. There is about 5000 acres there.

Where is black Bayou, cyress lake, vance road.

I am out of state and do not have a clue.
Har, Cypress and Black Bayou are two water conservation lakes 10 miles NE of Bossier City and 5 miles SE of Benton. T19N and 20N and 13W. Large numbers of subdivisions cirlce the lakes. Some leasing has taken place in the last year with the thought of Cotton Valley wells in the area. Even though there has been some Haynesville leasing in the area, it is rather spotty with prices between $5,000 - $6500. If you want a map of area. click on this link. I hope this helps.

We live in Woodlake North and our homeowners association sent a letter that they are working now on getting bids.
i live on the South side of the lake, My neighbors and I are in the same secton as Woodlake North. Three of them were contacted about 2 months ago by Petrohawk and have heard nothing else. Look at a map, Woodlake North, most of Woodlake South and Sweetwater Oaks are in the same section. We should all work together. Let me know. We aren't alot but everything adds up.
There is a meeting tonight (August 7th) at Cypress Baptist for the Cypress lake area. The meeting starts at 7:00
