I am not an expert but from all of my reading on this website, many people have
e-mailed the companies (the big players) directly. Our family also has land in Natchitoches Parish but I think we are going to sit tight for now and wait to be contacted, if and when that day comes.

Robert, where is your land located? A group of lawyers meet with the people in Powhatan last friday to talk about forming a co-op that will give them leverage in negociating a better deal for the smaller land owners. They You can contact the mayor of Powhatan for more info. Hope this helps.

My land is in Marthaville on Hwy 120 about 2miles from the parish line

Some attorneys want as much as 5-6% of your bonus money while others work for 2, 3 or 4% or even by the hour.
