Comstock

Does anyone know if Comstock has plans to drill HS well in Desoto parish sec 22-12N-16W. Also there are 15 producing wells on that section already.......Hosston sands...will that have any impact on future HS drilling in that sec. Thanks for any input.

Hi Cat Daddy, ole Gator here. I recieved a letter from lawers in S'Port back in Junethat they had file for permit in 22-12-16.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
