is your property in the goldonna area?

natch n3
None that I've heard of. A large area around Black Lake is Held By Production by Chesapeake. It dates from the 60's & 70's, so most likely no depth clauses which means no new leasing in the area of the old Placid Oil Black Lake Field.
Highwayman how does one figure out the area around black lake that is HBP?
Natch, It looks like most of the HBP is between Black Lake and Saline Lake, but I haven't studied it that close yet.
All of the old Black Lake field is HBP. Nothing else in that area is. Chesapeake leased some property back in 2005 between Saline Lake and Black Lake, unitized it, included it in the Black Lake Field and drilled two wells on it. One deep (15,000") and one not so deep (9,000'). Neither was produced and I don't think they are paying any shut-in royalty, so this area isn't HBP. These leases are due to expire soon if not extended. More or less, if you aren't getting a royalty check from Chesapeake at least once a year, then you aren't HBP.
I have land close to blacklake bridge and no one has contacted me. 36acres plus 3 acres across bridge. section2-7-11
we have approx 33 acres in section 1, T11N-R7w on Carrolls Camp Rd. A couple of our neighbors want to partner up to form a lease group. give us a call and let's talk about a group. 318-208-3706 . Roy's cell. maybe we can help each other out. The neighbors have about 10 more acres. We have only had the land for a couple of years and we dont live on it, so we really dont know any other neighbors.
being that this has been the most prolific production if not the only production area worth mentioning to date all the information that you guys are providing on this area is invaluable..i think everyone is so hoping that messenger will change not only the landscape of natchitoches but good fortune of the landowners in the parish!!

keep the information up guys!
