I heard a "rumor" that EXCO plans to begin drilling in Section 22. Has anyone heard of any activity in that section?

Well, good luck. We don't have a lease...yet (after the first attempt [last 3rd quarter] was taken down by the fall of the economy). So, I would suppose one or more of the companies will be sniffing around soon for our deep rights. We figure we will just wait it out.
Hello S.H. Maines - Is this the former location of the Infamous Dilla Fest!!!
LOL. Yes!
My sister in law is Tracy Davis Noplis. My husband Sterling still wears Dilla Fest shirts and we have some Dilla Fest posters up in our music studio. Ever thought of bringing it back?
S.H. Please add me to the list of those who would like to see a resumption of Dilla Fest. I heard great tales about it but never attended. It must have been a unique NW. LA. music experience. And I suspect, could be again.
Skip, will do. It was a blast...always.
Sharon, if it is one of the first two years of the shirts/posters...I made those. Not so sure "the Fest" will ever come back. It has turned into more of a party of the founders as it cost so much to put on. My brother is one of those. I always made the trip over for it. And can fondly remember Vince Gill's bus arriving for his performance.

I will tell my brother that...people want the Dilla Fest back.
you must have worked for Image Press.
Oh, no. I freelanced for my brother. Maybe the shirts I am referring to were not the first year but I did two in a row. And the poster.

Specifically designed them. I didn't print them. Not sure who printed all the materials.
As an answer to my own initial question. I have heard Petrohawk plans to place a drilling site at the SE corner of Section 22 then drill into Section 27. As I have read in other posts this is done to "make the turn" to horizontal and maximize the results/fracs/production potentials.

Anyway, that's new info. And Section 27 has it's sister well (my term) in 28 that has been in production for a few months.

Though, after all this, I haven't seen a permit for this well...yet.
