I sent the following to the administrator of the site:

I would like to know why the threads I started on the Natchitoches group have been deleted?

I have no idea and would like my threads put back on the site. There must be an explanation. I know that I had to re register on the site today. Can someone hack into you membership? When I put in my email address, the system recognized me. I am confused as everyone else and i agree that what was erased was reasonably good information posted by alot of individuals. For the rest of you concerned, you can also write the adminstrator with a complaint at the main site. Pat

I am noticing on this thread I just started that there are admin options in the right corner and they say the admin can edit, close, add tags, and delete discussions. I would like to hear back from the admin to make sure he is the only one with access to this!
Please see post below.
You, or someone logged in to your account, could delete all your threads. For example, I started a thread this morning about your missing threads. A few minutes ago I deleted that thread.
You are correct! I just did the same thing and my thread was erased by me. I am going to go back and change any passwords, etc. I have an idea who could have done this, and it is kinda chicken sh*t!
To my knowledge, the only one who can delete threads is the creator of the site (myself), an admin (Natch) or the poster (Pat). To my knowledge none of us did this purposefully nor accidently.

If you delete your profile it removes all your posts/threads..I will have to inquire with the platform creators as to what happened and if they are recoverable. Wont be able to do this until Monday.

Did you have to use a different email addresss or did it take the one you used the first time you registered?
It took the same email address!
Could someone else go in and eliminate my profile without my password?
no..not unless they are hackers with more knowledge than i
The odder thing is that I cannot even eliminate your profile...i can ban profiles but the person gets a notice about this. The only one who can leave a group is the individual. Were tinkering around with your "settings" and perhaps hit the "leave" button?
This is odd...this is the first time this has happened since I began the site...did you give out your passwords to anyone..or use 1234 as your password?
with haynesville and myself having the only authority in which to delete discussions it makes NO sense that we would not only delete discussions but delete your entire profile. i brought this to the attention of haynesville first thing this morning. Haynesville as well as myself are wanting what everyone else that participates on this site wants. Valid, accurate information supplied by commentators that are respectful of others.
