Bayou Lassie,

In June you wrote:

"Do know of one family that lives on 531, north of hwy 80 and south of 79 that signed a lease for a nice amount"

I'm pretty much in the smack dab center of Sec 25 and likely near the lease A check on SONRIS, if I read it correctly, shows only one well ever drilled in Sec 25--looks like it lies in the middle of the Beaver Creek neighborhood. My 10 acres is south of that subdivision against the south side of the creek.

Did you ever get anymore info on that lease you mentioned? Was it made for the HS or some other formation?

Will you be at the Beech Springs meeting next week? I'd really like to connect with other Sec 25 landowners.

Hello, I have a friend that lives out Old Arcadia Road about 10+ miles that has been approached about testing several times, although he never actually saw anything going on out there.Another friend actually caught testers on his land without consent.I think they said they had accidently gotten off course or something like that. The GPS unit he was holding is correct to within 15 to 20 feet or so.Kind of shoots the accidently part in the foot wouldn't you say.

Good info, keep it coming!Sometimes repeat intel is more important then the first time you hear it because it can help to displace the rumor aspect of what we are trying to accomplish,"A better understanding".Your intel backs up what my two friends have already told me,making it much harder for Big O & G to pass off on this area. There is a method to their madness. The more we as landowners put together the more of the puzzle picture we can see ,making us much less likely to get mowed over! Have a great day!
