Hey you! It's Jessica (formerly Shalelover). Got a question for you. What is the address of your property in Grand Cane? They have some property available at 662 Silver Spur and the hubby and I are looking to buy around that area. Do you have any idea if this property would already be under lease with ElPaso? I am waiting on a call back from the realtor for more info on the property. Thanks in advance!!!!!

Yes, if you are under lease til '09, it has already been secured by a co. However, the well will mean everything. I also hope you and your family get rich. Maybe we'll run into each other at the bank!!

I learned they have already started drilling in my section. Since we are already under a lease until oct. 08, we are held by production. Hopefully there will be some royalties forthcoming.

Your correct, the royalties were not much throughout the 80's and 90's. Since the late 90's they drilled quite a few alternate wells in Sec 12. The royalties increased since then. If he hasn't been receiving them I would see if they have been placed in Louisiana Treasury unclaimed items or if contact El Paso. Go to their web site and type his name. Hope this helps.
